You knew it was only a matter of time before Trouble & Bass' Swedish songstress Little Jinder got remixed. Her self-produced debut was a gentle and melodic surprise amidst the more aggressive, bass laden releases by her label mates, but with the help of 10 fresh remixes, Polyhedron is now prepped to wreak havoc on the dancefloor. Apparently T&B held a remix contest for Polyhedron and the four winning tracks made it on to the EP. The Supra1 remix goes for a wicked bassline wobble paired with sharp synth melodies over the top, Black Holes go for a hand clappin' stomper, and Aumenaire does a beautiful acoustic(!) version that works surprisingly well. Of course the T&B Crew and associates also get in on the remix action - AC Slater and Mikix The Cat do the wonky bass heavy house thing, France's Goon & Koyote get all retro rave with it, while DTL goes for a more gentle sound then we are used to with lots of ambient synths, soft drums, and a grumbly (but not really in your face) bassline. Especially feeling Math Head's remix that starts with spooky static and effects (reminiscent of Portishead or something) and breaks into a heavy dubstep creeper.
