ZFM EP Digi-12
house, electro and dubstep with global influences
|
Debut EP from Portuguese duo Zombies For Money. These guys fit right in with the Trouble And Bass family, specializing in wild club tracks with global influences. The lead track "Bhangra Dance" is a club bomb, combining some syncopated drums with Indian Bhangra loops that must sound massive on a decent system. "Sacanagem" follows that, layering various breaks underneath a chaotic, squelchy lead synth line. "Numbra One" keeps the pace up, this time adding some Portuguese vocals to make things sound even more hectic. Foamo's remix of that track adds some seriously wobbly bass lines, while Malente and Jay Robinson turn "Bhangra Dance" into a glitchy electro track. Also featured are the dubstep sounds of Zeder on his remix of "Bhangra," and Drop Top's electro pandemonium on his remix of "Sacanagem." Seven tracks total, heavy stuff.
