Savage Skulls and Douster link up for this release on Mad Decent, bringing a few friends along as well. "Bad Gal" features Swedish synth-pop star Robyn on vocals and a bouncy house beat that incorporates plenty of dancehall influences into its sound. Italian duo Crookers remix that one, putting their bonkers club sound on the track and eschewing the vocals almost entirely. "Rendezvous" is a darker, more minimal track that features raps from Sprinkle Juice. Mad Decent affiliate J-Wow gets ahold of that one, giving the track a more tropical 2step kind of vibe. Both tracks are as weird as they are good, and Mad Decent fans should find that this is right up their alley. Recommended.
