Laidback Luke and Lee Mortimer on Fool's Gold!? BELIEVE IT. The Dutch big room master has teamed up with the up and coming house DJ from the UK to drop this bomb via our homies at FG headquarters in Brooklyn (how's that for cosmopolitan?). "Blau!" almost sounds like it's gonna be a trance track, with some big keyboard lines that sound straight out the Jersey Shore, but just when you think you've got it figured out LBL and Mortimer pull the rug out from under you and all hell breaks loose when that nasty bassline comes in. Wouldn't be an FG single without some big remixes, so lablemates Nacho Lovers check in with a cowbell-laden, minimal version, while LA Riots keep many of the original elements but crank up the intensity by stuttering and layering the parts over each other. Doorly gets two mixes here, one that's more straightforward electro, as well as a wild, halftime dubstep version. Six tracks total, recommended.
