Hotflush has always seemed to be one step ahead of the dubstep scene. It is partially responsible for the genre's latest move (back) into two-step, the elimination of over-wobble, as well the reintroduction of the genre's electronica roots. Here label head Scuba demonstrates the sound firsthand with his highly anticipated 2nd solo release. The result is a totally listenable headphones album, cut with a couple club tracks for good measure. If you like the directions of recent phenoms like Mount Kimbie and Joy Orbison, then this album is a must. Recommended.
